Ramsey Channelizers and Carrier Rejects
Ramsey Channelizers are "free-standing" units that segregate one product line into as many as five lines to separate products into pre-determined batches.
Carrier Rejects receive signals from inspection devices and separate products into as many as five lines based on weight classification or other product characteristics.
Three models of Ramsey Channelizers and Carrier Rejects are available to serve Standard-Duty, Medium-Duty or Heavy-Duty line dividing needs where the operating environment is very hostille.
- Standard-Duty Unit - Suitable for smaller products running at moderate line speeds.
- Medium-Duty Unit - Suitable for larger products at high line speeds.
- Heavy-Duty Unit - Suitable for very large products at very high speeds.
Ramsey Channelizers find application wherever line dividing is required ahead of equipment such as case packers, wrappers and freezers. Pattern-forming controls provide for balanced or unbalanced count to multiple lanes. Automatic lane switching controls handle surge or product back-up conditions.
Carrier Rejects find application wherever products require segregation by weight or other product characteristics. Up to five lanes of classification by weight allow close control of make-weight operations or narrow-weight range lot shipments. |
