Glue Modules H-440 High Speed The H-440 is a high speed glue valve used by Vaclo Melton and is also used by Nordson under the name of Solid Blue B or SureBead and are 100% interchangeable. This valve is used in high speed packaging applications or in applications that can not tolerate nozzle stringing (angel hair). This valves operates well with any packaging applications which use EVA ,PSA or Fugitive thermo plastic adhesive material, which is the normal hot melt glue used in packaging. This is an air open air close valve which requires a 4 way solenoid valve. The air enters the top section of the section of the module and lifts a stem with a tungsten ball from a seat against the glue nozzle, which allows the adhesive to flow out. When the valve is turned off air is rerouted to the shutoff port which forces the stem and ball to re seat against the nozzle shutting off the adhesive flow. |
