Without any special adjustments, the standard Model 22 Series II reads most commonly printed bar codes and densities with working ranges from 4" to 36" (10.2 cm to 91.4 cm). Available with Accu-Sort's patented DRX (Data Reconstruction) technology, the Model 22 Series II consistently decodes bar codes that would be NO READS with other scanners. In some applications, DRX eliminates the need for a raster scanner.
The Model 22 Series II uses an advanced RISC microprocessor to decode scanned data at a standard speed of 500 scans per second, with optional speeds up to 1200 scans per second.
The Model 22 Series II is easily configured using Accu-Sort's Windows -based programming interface, Accu-Setup for Small Scanners. The unit can also be programmed online via the host computer. The standard configuration provides the user with auto-discrimination of eight bar code types. Optional configurations provide high density, long range, or high speed capabilities.
Two serial ports offer connection to the host computer, an optional display, or other serial devices. Two parallel TTL outputs, selectable for valid/non-valid codes, provide signals to operate optional relays.
Typical Applications Include:
- Tray label scanning
- Package content verification and counting
- Product identification and sortation
- Pharmaceutical label verification
- Automatic tracking of production items
