The AXIOM 400 is a wide depth of field reader allowing precise bar code reading at extreme distances. The compact, modular-based unit incorporates four laser diodes that provide high-speed scanning for fast moving conveyor applications. Though technologically advanced, the AXIOM 400 is designed for easy setup and operation.

The AXIOM 400 offers high-speed scanning, up to 1400 scans per second, and high reliability including a rugged IP 65 rated industrial enclosure. Ease of use is the focus of the product - the AXIOM 400 is offered with Accu-Sort's AXCESS software, a straightforward and intuitive interface. This user-friendly software allows the average customer to set up the product without the need for onsite service. Easy integration is not the only feature of the new software, it also offers character padding and stripping, as well as four user programmable I/O. Additionally, Ethernet - a widely considered industry standard for connectivity - is a standard feature in the AXIOM 400. This feature, along with parameter storage in the head and wiring base provide for quick uploading of application parameters, make the AXIOM 400 simple to operate by even novice installers.
